Eric Fraikue - Park View's Chairman with Kanu after the match
Mr Eric Kojo Fraikue (Chairman of Park View FC) a senior member of the Capstone Sports Management team together with Portsmouth City Football Club arranged a charity football match, Pompey vs. Friends of Kanu at Fratton Park on Sunday 20th May 2007 to raise awareness and funds for the Kanu Heart Foundation.
In attendance were some of the children who have benefited from the Kanu Heart Foundation together with a myriad of top names from the likes of Arsenal’s Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor, Chelsea’s Michael Essien, Suley Muntari, John Paintsil and Everton’s Joseph Yobo, as well as former Pompey stars Aiyegbeni Yakubu, Amdy Faye and Diomansy Kamara together with other football personalities from the Premiership, Africa and Europe.
The football match was followed by a high profile fund raising Black Tie Dinner and Gala event at the Port Solent Marriot Hotel where the Football Stars and guests were entertained by the comedian Gina Yashere.
