Park View FC – 2006 Awards & End-of-Season Party –Jan 2007

A truly beautiful evening of excitement, enjoyment and rewards, the Park View 2006 End-of-Season party held on Saturday 13th January 2007, was the final event to crown the Successes of the 2006 season.

The evening started with a congratulatory speech from the Chairman (Eric Fraikue) and other pronouncements from the Vice-Chairman (Emile Hanson) and Head Coach (James Taylor). On display were several medals and trophies which were presented to players who made major impact to the success of the 2006 season.

Kwame Sarpong and Kyei Nana picked up captaincy plaques for serving from 2000 – 2002 and 2003 – 2005 respectively. Emmanuel Aduboffour (Pele) picked up ‘Most Improved Player’ and Kingsley Amankwa had ‘Most Committed Player’. Kofi Appiah (KK) and David Nana Kofi Frimpong received the ‘Most Dedicated Player’ each.

Ahmed Abdulai (Tanko) received ‘Management Player of the Year’ and Francis Williams (Junior) picked up ‘Most Outstanding Player’. Kofi Oti-Atokorah (Capito) received the ‘Players Player’ award voted by the players themselves and Julian Owusu-Bekoe received the ‘Young Player of the year’ award for his superb contribution to the senior side and for his call up to the Ghana National Under 17 Side (Black Starlets)

Giving the last word most of the players expressed their gratitude and appreciation for being part of such a remarkable occasion and also to be part of such a wonderful family. The evening was concluded with a lot of shouting, singing and dancing as well hopes for more successes in the seasons to come.
