Nana Kyei hands over captaincy to Kofi Oti-Atakorah
Kyei Nana assumed his Park View captaincy in 2002, taking over from Kwame Sarpong (who sustained an injury that kept him out of the game for nearly 4 years), has passed on the skipper’s band to Kofi Oti-Atakorah.
Kyei, whose reign saw Park View win the GFS Premiership in 2005 and runners-up in the GFS One-Day Tournament that same year, when passing on the captaincy badge advised the new young dynamic leader to be strong and focused. He also pleaded with the squad to show their new captain the same respect and support they had shown him.
The head coach Mr James Taylor also asked the entire club to join him in thanking Kyei for his leadership qualities and also join him in welcoming the new captain. The new captain Kofi Oti-Atakorah promised his team mates good leadership and assured them more successes under his reign.
Nana Kyei has subsequently been promoted to Assistant Coach waiting to take his coaching course along side several others in February 2007.
