An away game to Hackney meant a 12 noon kick off. Park View arrived with possibly their strongest line up of the season with a couple of new players hoping to carry on their winning run. The match started with the usual Park View away formation 4-5-1, with Tanko back in goal and Francis once again as a loan striker. A highly tactical game saw an improved Hackney, with the introduction of a new coach Mr Awuku Danso, who had introduced new measures, discipline and tactics mount an early pressure.
Park View contained them very well with Kofi (Captain) and Edmund Copson (who had just signed for the team) sitting deep in midfield to hold off Hackney’s attack. 15 minutes into the half, Copson laid off a clinical pass to Nana Kofi who struck home fiercely to open the score line. Allotey also joined the score sheet with a skilful chip over the keeper who had rushed out to force a save.
The second had saw the introduction of 16 year old Julian Owusu-Bekoe (also a new signing for Park View) torment the Hackney defence resulting in a goal mouth action that saw Nana Kofi’s shot ricochet off Allotey on the hackney goal line for a rebound for Nana Kofi to strike home the third goal. Final Results Hackney 0 – Park View 3.
