Park Views first league game against Republicans FC, scheduled for the 26th of March was postponed, presenting this fixture as the clubs first game of the season. Heavy rains earlier on in the morning threatened another postponement but subsided just before kick off at 3 pm. An action packed away match first half saw Francis Williams (Junior) open his goal accounts of the season when he was awarded a penalty. He opened the score line with a beautiful spot kick to the dismay of the Kennington fans who thought otherwise. Kennington FC then equalised 10 minutes later with a long range effort that beat the entire Park View defence.
Francis later converted another penalty just before half time to make it 2-1 in favour of Park View. The Second half started with Kennington mounting a lot pressure, but Park View defended very well, but also missed a lot of chances to put the game away. The game was very tight in midfield, with Park View doing everything possible to secure their first win, until a reckless tackle from Kwabena Agyemang saw the referee award Kennington an easy penalty, which to their delight scored to equalise. The final result, Kennington 2 - Park View 2
