About PVFC
Park View Football Club achieves the FA Charter Standard
Park View Football Club is affiliated with Middlesex County Football
Association
ESTABLISHED: 1991
LOCATION: Tottenham, London
NICKNAME: 'Snipers'
MOTTO: 'Discipline & Hard Work'
We are a London based, non-profit making football club, with the objective
of developing young and adult talents from different communities,
in the hope that some of them will progress through the amateur level
to the professional levels. Equally, by supporting social diversity
and community integration, we hope to also help build confidence
and friendship within the different communities.
We started in summer 1991 at Chestnuts Park (Opposite St. Anns Hospital,
South Tottenham N15) as a group of friends and family kicking about
every Sunday afternoon, then progressed to organising football matches
against other friends, who had taken the same cue and interest in kicking
about every Sunday in other parts of London. We then moved a few times around,
before settling at Down Lane Recreation Ground, Park View Road Tottenham summer 1996
In 2003 we got affiliated with Middlesex County Football Association (MCFA) and joined the
Ghana Football Society (GFS) League, which we initiated and help to form through the MCFA.
In 2005 Park View FC through commitment, discipline and hard work was awarded The FA Charter Standard.
In that same year the club won the GFS League and went on to become champions in 2 successive seasons.
In the 2007/2008 season, we progressed to the Division One (C&E) of the Middlesex County Football League (MCFL)
and we made our presence felt by winning the Middlesex County FA Cup 2008 and making it to the MCFL Senior Open Cup Final.
To add to all that we rapped up the season as Middlesex County 2008 Division One League Champions gaining promotion
to the Premier Division.
With every effort and stride made we sincerely believe Park View FC have come a long way.
The club's sharpness and ability to keep a tight focus both on and off the pitch as reflected in our nickname Snipers
will enable us go forth to achieve even better heights in the future.
Making a real difference the way we (PVFC) see it!
Football is a very passionate game that is enjoyed worldwide and since we are
equally passionate and committed, we hope this in one-way or
the other will help keep young people off the streets thus away from crime and
social irresponsibility, whiles equally promoting good health and fitness
within the community.
As we support community involvement at the grass root level within the football
industry, we believe it is time for the Park View Football Club (PVFC) to look
for alternative ways of creating public awareness through all forms of media
sponsorships.
